BOMB
The film BOMB, second in the series of ‘black’ films, takes its starting point from a ‘dirty bomb’ information pamphlet on protection from nuclear contamination. It turns clear instructions – avoid rain, close windows and seek shelter – into a collage of related sound-effects titles. With images removed, a female voice provides the tone sufficient to produce a suspenseful genre thriller: a film-noir of the mind.
