3 stages to put out a fire

Pitch, Trinity Buoy Warf, a Site Specific Residency/Exhibition involving 11 artists housed within various buildings at the docklands at Trinity Buoy Warf. The artists were resident, and in Bruce Gilchrist’ case slept during the day, within the buildings over a 6 month residency. The project was curated by Gilly Booth and Gill Addison and supported by the Docklands, Kingston University. The exhibition opened to the public over a two week period. 

Gilly booth’s installation: 3 stages to put out a fire, comprised of a 16mm large scale film loop projection within the Lighthouse at Trinity Buoy Wharf. The film looped continuously 24 hours a day for a two weeks period resulting in the destruction of the celluloid film.
